1. Where do you live in 2020? Please describe the place and the surrounding environment?

I live in Dhaka city capital of bangladesh, this is a populated country so here I saw completely opposite situations and surrounding in every month of 2020. It was never same. End of March to end of June it was very different from regular but after August it was normal and noisy again.

1. 2020年这一年你生活在哪里?(国家-城市或村庄)请描述一下那个地方和附近的情况。

我住在孟加拉国首都达卡,这是一个人口稠密的国家,所以在这里,我在2020年的每个月都会看到截然不同的处境和周遭环境,一切都不一样了。3月底到6月底,这里比较严峻,跟平时有很大不同,但到了8月,又恢复了正常和嘈杂。

2.How does the COVID-19 pandemic affect you personally in your country and its countermeasure?

It’s difficult to explain, yes I was effected mentally, financially, politically,religiously. Maybe every single person of the world go through the same thing. I can’t measure it in any aspect.

2.新冠疫情在你所在国家及其对策对你个人有什么影响?

这很难解释,是的,我在精神上、经济上、政治上、宗教上都受到了影响。也许世界上每个人都经历着同样的事情。我无法从任何方面衡量它。

3.Where is one of the places you enjoy most this year? How do you spend your time there? can you describe what it looks like?

I was far from my home since 2017, after long time I was celebrated festival in home with family members, I enjoyed those moments. I’m self-centred but this Covid-19 change my views about people surrounding me. I was enjoying home and became homie.

3.今年你最享受的某个地方是哪里?你如何在哪里度过时光,能否描述一下那里什么样子。

自2017年以来,我就离开家乡去到很远的地方,在很长一段时间之后,我又可以和家人一起在家里庆祝节日,我很享受那些时刻。我是比较自我中心的,但新冠肺炎改变了我对周围人的看法。我正享受着回家的乐趣,我也成了一名小镇青年。

4.Where is the farthest place you have been this year?

Oh yes! In my country people was not so conscious about COVID-19 in the beginning when I just back to my country. So I travel to a tribal community in the mountain area called ‘Remakri’. It was 11 day trip in middle of February.

4.这一年你去到最远的地方是哪里?

哦,对了,在我刚回国的一开始,人们对新冠肺炎的意识还不是很强,所以我去了山区一个叫‘Remakri’的社区。那是2月中旬11天的旅行。

5.Who do you live with in 2020?

Family members almost 10 people together in my in laws house.

5.这一年你主要和谁生活在一起?

我在公婆家,几乎有10个人住在一起。

6.How did the COVID-19 pandemic affect the way you work?

Yes, of course. I suppose to be graduated with a wonderful exhibition and had some plans in China, which end up with mess. I missed my residency program in Korea which converted to e-residency. I also miss lot of shows I suppose to be joined.

6.新冠大流行对你的工作方式产生了怎样的影响?

是的,当然。我原计划毕业的时候会有一个很棒的展览,在中国有一些计划,但最终都是一团糟。我错过了在韩国的驻地计划,最后改成了一次“电子驻地”。我也错过了很多我想参加的活动。

7.Has your work been promoted in some way?

Yes promoted but financial aspects 2020 was a bad dreams in my career.

7.你的工作(创作或写作或策展等等)是否获得了某种推进?

是的,有进展,但2020年的财务状况在我的职业生涯里是一个噩梦。

8.Are you more anxious this year than in previous years? If so, how do you relieve your anxiety?

Yes of course. Maybe everyone was anxious, and I really don’t know any way to be relieved.

8.这一年你是否比往年更焦虑?如果是,你是如何缓解焦虑的?

当然。也许每个人都很焦虑,我真的不知道有什么方法可以让我获得释然。

9.Recommend some movies or books you have seen this year (or a poem), you can briefly explain why.

Books: Biography of Andy Warhol, Biography of Frieda Kahlo, Biography of Marina Abramović.
Movies: Seven, Ludu, Money heist (web series ), Person of interest (web series)

9.推荐几部这一年你看过的电影或书(也可以是一段诗),也可以简单说下为什么。

书籍:《安迪·沃霍尔传》、《弗里达·卡罗传》、《玛丽娜·阿布拉莫维奇传》。
电影:Seven, Ludu, Money heist (网剧), Person of interest (网剧)

10.Have you ever imagined what human life would be like after the end of COVID-19 pandemic?

It’s already visible in my country, here corona already long gone, you can’t imagine how normal is life here. We are already recovering our everything businesses, losses, development, production, construction etc.

10.你是否想象过新冠大流行结束之后的人类生活会怎样?

这在我的国家已经很明显,这里新冠已经消失很久了,你无法想象这里的生活是多么正常。我们已经在恢复所有的商业活动、亏损、开发、生产、建设等等。
